Republik was tasked with the job of promoting and launching one of Bandai Namco’s largest and most anticipated global games to date.
The job was to gain cut-through and talkability in the crowded and hotly contested gaming world. Republik was able to gain huge attention in the NZ market through a range of different media initiatives to spark interest from the wider masses, whilst also ensuring we strategically delivered messages to our die-hard gaming audience.
Led by above the line media spanning broadcast TV, an interactive and nationwide treasure hunt through The Rock FM and specific large scale transit bus coverage. This mass media approach was underpinned by a high-impact video-led digital campaign with website takeovers, rich media executions, social and various programmatic strategies to ensure we were honing in on the gaming audience at various touchpoints throughout the duration of the campaign.
With millions of impressions across the country, thousands of clicks to the site and record levels of conversions through retailers online and in-store, we were able to help drive one of the most successful country launches globally.
